La Amiii!

Hace mas o menos un año conocí a la amii Majito en nuestro entrenamiento a un cuenta en la que soliamos trabajar juntas.

Aunque nuestra amistad no empezó inmediamente, cuando lo hizo, fue un click fuerte. Como todo lo bueno en esta vida, tomó tiempo.

La amiii se ha convertido en una gran mejor amiga. Acompañandonos mutuamente en salidas a celebrar nada, coffee dates, cumpleaños de gente que no conocemos, citas DESASTROSAS, pleitos por protegernos, comilonas, etc.

Gracias amii por aguantarme, y por hacerle el feo a la gente que lo hace a mi! TQM! Me encanta como nuestra amistad no se define por lugar ni tiempo! Nuestra amistad va para muuuy largo!! :D

Around a year or so I met my amii Majito (ami is abreviation for 'amiga' wich translated is female friend) in out training for a campaing in which we used to work together.

Even though our friendship wasn't an immediate thing, when we became friends it was a strong click. As everything good in life, it took time.

La amii has become a great best friend. Joining me in trips to celebrate nothing, coffee dates, birthday bashes of people we don't know, desastrous dates, arguments to protect each other, eat dates, etc.

Thanks amiii for putting up with me, and for defending me from people that is not nice. Love you! And I love how are friendship is not define by time and place! Our friendship has a looong way to go!!:)

La tecnología sí hace las distancias más cortas../Technology does make distances shorter...

Hoy me desperté de mi siesta con la sorpresa que mi madre estaba usando la computadora, por un momento pensé que iba a ser imposible escribir la entrada de hoy, pero no lo fue.

Cuando me acerqué a la computadora, mi sorpresa fue ver a mi mami usando Google Maps para ver las casas de mis tíos al otro lado del mundo!! La verdad fue muy emocionante, aún por medio de una pantala, recorrer esas calles que ellos transitan todos los días y ver aunque sea la fachada de la casa.  Si leen esto los extraño mucho!! Pronto iremos a verlos!! Para el resto, les informo, que la tecnología bien usada es realmente una GRAN HERRAMIENTA!! XO

Today I woke up from my nap with the surprise of my mum using my computer, for a minute there I thought I wasn't going to be able to write this, but here I am.

When I came closer to my computer, I saw my mum using Google Maps -very skillfully if I might add- to see my uncle's and aunt's houses all over the world!! Truthfully it was a very exciting feeling to go by the same streets and drives they go by every single day, felt like we were there for real. If you are reading this we miss you greatly and hope to be soon there sharing with you guys. For the rest of you, technology is really a great tool if use wisely. XO
