Hoy me desperté de mi siesta con la sorpresa que mi madre estaba usando la computadora, por un momento pensé que iba a ser imposible escribir la entrada de hoy, pero no lo fue.

Cuando me acerqué a la computadora, mi sorpresa fue ver a mi mami usando Google Maps para ver las casas de mis tíos al otro lado del mundo!! La verdad fue muy emocionante, aún por medio de una pantala, recorrer esas calles que ellos transitan todos los días y ver aunque sea la fachada de la casa.  Si leen esto los extraño mucho!! Pronto iremos a verlos!! Para el resto, les informo, que la tecnología bien usada es realmente una GRAN HERRAMIENTA!! XO

Today I woke up from my nap with the surprise of my mum using my computer, for a minute there I thought I wasn't going to be able to write this, but here I am.

When I came closer to my computer, I saw my mum using Google Maps -very skillfully if I might add- to see my uncle's and aunt's houses all over the world!! Truthfully it was a very exciting feeling to go by the same streets and drives they go by every single day, felt like we were there for real. If you are reading this we miss you greatly and hope to be soon there sharing with you guys. For the rest of you, technology is really a great tool if use wisely. XO

Hoy es un día de celebración en mi familia. Por lo tanto merece  mención especial para alguien que es extremadamente importante en mi familia. 

Es el cumpleaños de mi adorada tía Sirian, mi segunda mami!:) Te quiero desear un muy feliz cumpleaños tía, todas las bendiciones del mundo para tí, espero que te la estés pasando de maravilla al otro lado del mundo! Ójala te consientan muchisímo porque te lo merecés. Que la luz del Dios brillé siempre sobre ti. Te quiero mucho!!

Today is a celebration day in my family. Therefore a special mention is in order to someone extremely important to the family.

 It's my beloved auntie Sirian's birthday, my second mum!:) I want to wish you a very happy birthday auntie, all of the world's blessings to you. I hope you are having a blast on the other side of the wold! Wish you are also being very pampered and spoil  because you deserve it. May God's light shine upone your face always. I  love you!!

Hoy fue un día muy importante en mi vida porque es un día muy importante en la de mi hermana: Su primer día de universidad! Realmente el tiempo pasa muy rápido, puede que este teniendo un momento de nostalgía o cursi, pero es realmente así! Los que son padres o hermanos mayores me entenderán: Un día te están molestando y llorando porque no les das los que quieren, y al siguiente empiezan a ser jóvenes adultos que no sólo sueñan con independencia, sino la empiezan a obtener.

Que si estoy orgullosa, sí lo estoy. Sé que mi hermana triunfará en esta nueva etapa, simplemente porque sé que la empieza de la mano de Dios.

Today was a very important day in my life because it was a very important day in my sister's life: Her very first day of college! Times goes by flying, maybe I'm having some kind of paternal big sister moment or just some very embarassing corny moment, but time really goes by so fast! Thoes of you who are parents or big brothers and sisters will understand me: One day you haev this annoying little boy or girl, fuzzing around you and crying because you don't pay attention to them, or play with them, and on the next second they are young adults that not only dream about freedom and indepence, but are starting to getting it. 

If I'm proud? That's out of the question, 'cause I am. I know that my sister will succed in this just because she is being held by God's hand! :)

La temporada de fiestas pasó, se terminó la celebración pero todavía queda comida que terminar! En mis celebraciones, comí de todo: pavo, jamones, arroz, ensalada, diferentes tipos de pan y POSTRES!

Este fue mi favorito: Tres leches con nutella. Deliciones pan suave mojado en 3 diferetes tipos de leche con una ENORME capa de nutella al medio! Si alguien quiere acompañarme, sientase libre de venir porque todavía hay! Les deseo una semana tan dulce como la mía! :)

PS: Lo compré en panadería "San Martin", lo recomiendo con un buen vaso de tu bebida favorita.

Holiday season is over, celebrations are done, but there's still plenty of food to eat! In my celebrations I ate everything: Turkey, jams, rices, salads, different kinds of bread but overall, DESSERTS!

This was my favorite: 3 milks with nutella. For those of you who have no idea what that is, you should go ahead and try to get some, because is delish! Delicious sweet bread wet in three different kinds of milk, cut right in the middle and stuff with a HUGE nutella layer! If anyone wish to try it, you are more that welcome to my house where there's still a bit left! Wishing a week as sweet as mine I say goodbye!:) 

PS: Bought in bread store "San Martin". My personal recommendation is to eat with your favorite drink! :)

Como parte de mis propósitos de 2012 he decidio escribir un blog, será bueno, - si logro constancia y escribo las 366 entradas del año en español e inglés- llevar una especia de diario de todo mi EXCELENTE año por FE.  Tal vez escribir lo pasa diariamente me ayudo a liberar estres, aunque espero que mi 2012 sea libre de estres.

La razón del nombre "Paradise" para mi primer entrada es en base al video de Coldplay bajo el mismo nombre. Se los dejo por si no lo han visto:

Poniendo atención a su letra, me doy cuenta como es muy parecida a lo que he esperado TODA mi vida,  dormir y soñar con el paraíso.... Pero este año, estoy decidida a no sólo soñar, este año será el año de mi paraíso. Sé que Dios tiene tantas bendiciones guardadas para mí que declaro este año un total y completo paraíso!

As one of my 2012 purposes to achieve this year I've decided to write a blog, I hope it to be a good thing if I managed to write all the 366 entries for each day both in spanish and englis. It would be like keeping some kind of journal of my completely AMIZING year (I'm declaring that as a woman of faith!). Maybe writing this on daily basis will help me to get stress free, tho I hope this to be a stress free year on everything.

The reason on why I named my first entry "Paradise" is because today morning I was remembering the lyrics on Coldplay's song - Paradise. I'll post it here just in case you haven't heard it or watch the video:

Payin attention to the lyrics, I realized how alike I'm to the girl described there. Since childhood I'd been looking for paradise my entired life.... But this year will be different because I'm 100% commited to not just dream of paradise, but do and drive myself to it! I know God has so much in store for me this year that I declared will be a totally awesome year full of PARADISE!!
